Histone modification involves epigenetic regulations of gene expression and various regulation of chromosome function. Highly specific modified histone antibodies have been eagerly anticipated for Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays to detect modified histones on particular genome regions. Wako has launched such modified histone antibodies manufactured by MAB Institute Inc. (Japan). They have solved the problem of high lot-to-lot variation of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies.
