Two types are available; high-adsorption type Wakosil® SIL having a silica gel pore size of 6 nm and low-adsorption type Wakosil® SIL-120 having a silica gel pore size of 12 nm. The specific surface area is 500 m²/g and 300 m²/g, respectively.
As the specific surface area increases, the sample retention capacity and separation capacity become higher. Selecting the optimum one from the two adsorption rates will realize more efficient analysis.

This filler consists of high-purity silica gel with low metallic content. It is suitable for preparative isolation of compounds which may be affected by metallic impurities.
