Test solution for Disintegration and Dissolution Test

These are the prepared test solutions for disintegration and dissolution test. In addition to the ready-to-use type, the 10-fold concentration types are also available. Adoption of a vessel of low elution type makes it be ideal for dissolution test.

1. Feature

4. Preparation Method : Prepared on the basis of the following ratio

1st Fluid for Disintegration Test, pH 1.2 / 1st Fluid for Dissolution Test, pH 1.2 *based on Japanese Pharmacopoeia Grade

Dissolve 2.0 g of sodium chloride into 7.0mL of hydrochloric acid and water to make 1000 mL of solution. This solution is clear and colorless, and its pH is about 1.2

2nd Fluid for Disintegration Test, pH 6.8 *based on Japanese Pharmacopoeia Grade

Add 118 mL of 0.2 mol/L sodium hydroxide test solution and water to 250mL of 0.2 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate test solution to make 1000 mL of solution. This solution is clear and colorless, and its pH is about 6.8.

2nd Fluid for Dissolution Test *based on Japanese Pharmacopoeia Grade

Add 1 capacity of water to 1 capacity of pH 6.8 phosphate buffer solution.

Phosphate Buffer Solution, pH 6.8 *based on Japanese Pharmacopoeia Grade

Dissolve 3.40 g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 3.55 g of disodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous into water to make 1000 mL of solution.

Acetic Acid-Sodium Acetate Buffer Solution, pH 4.0 *based on Japanese Pharmacopoeia Grade

Dissolve 5.44 g of sodium acetate trihydrate into 900 mL of water, then add acetic acid (100) dropwise and prepare it to be pH 4.0, and add water to make 1000 mL of solution.

Diluted McIlvaine Buffer Solution * based on the notification by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare

Prepare the pH using 0.05 mol/L of sodium hydrogen phosphate and 0.025 mol/L of citric acid.
