(1) Apigenin
Apigenin is one of flavonoids and reverses the phenotypes of many ras-transformed
cells by inhibiting MAP kinase-associated signal transduction pathways.
In the case of V-H-ras-transformed NIH 3T3 cells, treatment with apigenin
induces dephosphorylation of p44mapk and reduction of MAP kinase activity.

(2) Chrysin
Chrysin is one of flavonoids contained in fruit skins, propolis, etc. and exhibits activities such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antitumor activities.
Aromatase inhibition and apoptosis induction have also been reported. In addition, the substance has been reported to bind to aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR)
drawing attention as a dioxin receptor and is under investigation in relation to improvement of dioxin toxicity.

(3) Cyanidin hydrochloride
Cyanidin is one of anthocyanidins, a type of flavonoid. It is present in
fruits such as grape and bilberry mostly in the form of glycoside. Cyanidin
and its glycoside exhibit potent antioxidant activity.

Kaempferol [3,4',5,7-tetrahydroxyflavone] Kaempferol is a kind of flavonols.
It is naturally present as aglycone in various glycoside such as 3,7-dirhamnoside
and 3-glycoside. It exhibits antimicrobial activity and inhibition of heat

(8) Quercetin dihydrate
Quercetin is a yellow dye ingredient and one of flavonoids. It is also
called quercetin. It has antioxidant and antitumor activities. It exhibits
potent inhibitory effect on lipid absorption among polyphenols and acts
as a supporter to eliminate lipids in the body. It enhances lipid metabolism
in the liver, raises fat burning and inhibits lipid absorption by binding

(10) Sulfuretin
Sulfuretin, characterized by aurones, is an old compound in the flavonoid family. Recently, however, its inhibitory effect on aldose reductase was elucidated.

(14) Isoflavones
Isoflavones are flavonoids contained abundantly in legume plants such as soybean. Glycosides such as daidzin, genistin and glycitin and aglycones

of osteoporosis are known.
Isoflavones have been reported to become acetyl derivatives by heating. It has also been reported that 60% of Isoflavones are present as malonyl
