1. Calyculin A

Calyculin A contracts the smooth muscle, regardless of presence or absence of external solution calcium, and the action is about 100 times as potent as that of okadaic acid. A variety of actions has been confirmed such as to strongly inhibit Type 1, and 2A phosphatase activity to the same extent, to promote the phosphorylation of the protein, and so on.

2. CiguatoxinCTX 3C

Ciguatoxins is a toxin that is produced by toxic dinoflagellate, and a causative agent of ciguatera food poisoning as the largest marine poisoning in the world which more than 50,000 people will take in a year.

3. Cylindrospermopsin

Cylindrospermopsin is one of cyanotoxins. The poison of freshwater are  liver poison, nerve poison, etc.

4. Dinophysistoxin-1

Dinophysistoxin-1 is a type of diarrhea shellfish poison that has been isolated from Halichondria okadai. It is also the structure which position 35 of okadaic acid being isolated from Halichondria okadai is methylated, and it shows the same effect as okadaic acid. The carcinogenic promoter activity of non-TPA type, the specific inhibitory effect of protein phosphatase, etc. have been reported.

5. Maitotoxin

Maitotoxin is one of causes of marine food poisoning (ciguatera) which is produced by Gambierdiscus toxicus. It was named Maitotoxin in honor of Tahiti name (maito) of Ctenochaetus striatus, a fish that causes Ciguatera poisoning .It has the effects such as contraction of smooth muscle, liberation of norepinephrine as a neurotransmitter, which they think both are caused from the specific uptake action of extracellular Ca2+ into the cell.Since Ca2+ influx occurs even in cells with no voltage-dependent channel, it is useful as a clarification reagent of information transmission mechanism through Ca2+

6. Mycalolide B

Mycalolide B suppresses the shrinkage of smooth muscle and actomyosin ATPase activity. It makes F- actin depolymerized in concentration-dependent manner, which action is said to be stronger than that of cytochalasin D. It also suppresses the activation of platelets by inhibiting the polymerization of actin. Since the actin filament is completely monomerized by the high concentration treatment, it suppresses the activity of actomyosin and the Mg2+-ATPase of the act S1 by actin filaments, but it does not show the effect on the same activity of myosin alone. It is binded with G- actin as 1: 1, and inhibits the extension of actin.

7. Okadaic acid

Okadaic acid is a causative agent of diarrhea shellfish poison that has been isolated from Halichondria okadai. 8. Okadaic Acid Sodium Salt

9. Palytoxin

Palytoxin is a toxin that has been isolated from Palythoa tuberculosa. It shows a strong contraction action of coronary artery . It has been also reported about hemolysis action, peripheral vasoconstriction action, Na+ permeability increase action in the nerve membrane, human strength Sutamin release action, Na+ and K+-ATPase inhibitory effect in high concentration, etc.
