TRPA1 Channel related reagents

TRPA1 (Transient Receptor Potential Ankyrin 1) was reported as a channel to be activated by cold stimulation at ≤ 17°C. Other than low temperature, it is activated by components of mustard and cinnamon, which are allyl isothiocyanate and cinnamaldehyde, respectively, and is thought to be concerned with pain transmission. It is also reported to be concerned with respiratory control.
